SUPA FLY

SUPA FLY

Here is my new toy design SUPA FLY i took this idea because i love the 70′s classic SUPER FLY by GORDON PARKS. The soundtrack by CURTIS MAYFIELD is amazing i listen to it everyday.  I also have a love for really cool insects and bugs plus i wanted to give it a twist.  In DETROIT we men love to wear suits and cool shoes so what more can i say.  We dont know what the plans will be for this design yet we wil keep you posted.  Oh yeah he has a few side kicks also beetle boy and Queen BEE.

BLACK AND SMOOTH

BLACK AND SMOOTH

Well here comes 1978 all over again.

This could be one of the nastiest “Bandit “T/A’s Arround. complete with an all aluminum 572 BBC and a TKO600 5 speed trans, the drive train is built to handle anything, a sheet metal 9″ housing with 33 spline axles and 3.73 posi. The rear suspension is a prototype Speed Tech Performance torque arm with adjustable pan hard bar and coil over shocks. The wheels are limited production 19″ Forgelines 9″ wide fronts and 12″ wide rears running Nitto Invo tires 275/30′s and 345/30 rears. A full custom interior featuring custom Gauges intended to keep the original feel of the gold engine turned dash but with out all the tacky 78 feel. Custom stiched leather seats by Tracy from Recovery Room Interiors in Nebraska Arguabilly one of the best in the business,  Tracy also was responsible for the difficult task of leather wrapping the stock dash as there are no replacemements available for this car . Murray one of our local interior contractors handled wrapping the interior panels and carpet install.

This is car was introduced at the 2008 Sema Show in the Speed Tech Performance booth and there was a crowd arround the car for 4 days. The build plan was to keep the traditional feel of the Bandit with an updated drive train including brakes and suspension along with a nasty look and stance.

The following build photos show what was done to the car, the car started as a fairly clean Arizona car that had been acid dipped and delivered in boxes to us for the build. The customer already had a 572 and some other parts that dictated the direction of the build. Killer Customs job was to try to complete the car in a very short time frame. we ended up taking longer than anticipated but feel the outcome was well worth the wait.
