History
About Chief Pontiac
He was a man of power and strength, a man of peace, a man whose word was his bond. He was Pontiac, Chief of the Ottawa Indian tribe, who lived from 1720 to 1769. Chief Pontiac was rugged, yet charismatic; strong, but gentle; a warrior, as well as a diplomat.
It was Pontiac who united, for the first time, all the tribes between the Mississippi River, Florida and Canada for a common cause; to resist the men who were advancing on the Native Americans’ hunting grounds. Chief Pontiac led his people into battles with the British who were fighting the French to control Canada and Northeastern and Mideastern America. Although the battles were lost, Chief Pontiac’s courage became legendary.
Today Michigan’s Pontiac shares its name with cities in six other states; Ohio, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, New York and Rhode Island. A lake in Oakland County is named for Pontiac. So are a municipality and county in the province in Quebec, Canada. One of the world’s most popular automobile nameplates also bears the name Pontiac. A print of an original oil painting of Chief Pontiac, by Academy of Arts painter Jerry Farnsworth, is on display in the lobby of Pontiac City Hall.

PONTIAC TRANS AM
Author: xavier
This could be one of the nastiest “Bandit “T/A’s Arround. complete with an all aluminum 572 BBC and a TKO600 5 speed trans, the drive train is built to handle anything, a sheet metal 9″ housing with 33 spline axles and 3.73 posi. The rear suspension is a prototype Speed Tech Performance torque arm with adjustable pan hard bar and coil over shocks. The wheels are limited production 19″ Forgelines 9″ wide fronts and 12″ wide rears running Nitto Invo tires 275/30′s and 345/30 rears. A full custom interior featuring custom Gauges intended to keep the original feel of the gold engine turned dash but with out all the tacky 78 feel. Custom stiched leather seats by Tracy from Recovery Room Interiors in Nebraska Arguabilly one of the best in the business, Tracy also was responsible for the difficult task of leather wrapping the stock dash as there are no replacemements available for this car . Murray one of our local interior contractors handled wrapping the interior panels and carpet install.
This is car was introduced at the 2008 Sema Show in the Speed Tech Performance booth and there was a crowd arround the car for 4 days. The build plan was to keep the traditional feel of the Bandit with an updated drive train including brakes and suspension along with a nasty look and stance.
The following build photos show what was done to the car, the car started as a fairly clean Arizona car that had been acid dipped and delivered in boxes to us for the build. The customer already had a 572 and some other parts that dictated the direction of the build. Killer Customs job was to try to complete the car in a very short time frame. we ended up taking longer than anticipated but feel the outcome was well worth the wait.

BAD DOGGY
In the 1930s in Argentina, Antonio Nores Martinez set out to breed the ultimate big game hunting dog, a dog not only capable of taking on dangerous game such as wild boar and cougars, but a dog also capable of being a loyal pet and family guardian.
Martinez picked the Cordoba Fighting Dog to be the base for the breed. This breed is extinct today but was described as a large and ferocious dog that was both a great hunter and fighter. He crossed it with Great Dane, Boxer, Spanish Mastiff, Old English Bulldog, Bull Terrier, Great Pyrenees, Pointer, Irish Wolfhound and Dogue de Bordeaux. Martinez kept improving the resulting breed via selective breeding to introduce the desired traits. The first standard for the Dogo Argentino was written in 1928. The Dogo Argentino was introduced to the United
